No longer creeping, no need to hide

The fight of our lives sitting before our open eyes

Yet our blindness shows us unwise
Fear of destruction ahead has been lost
As we search for the gold at the end…the prize

Our ears have been tickling far too long

Looking for the next great love song
Or the next great deception to help us blur
The lines we’ve erased between right and wrong

And TRUTH…where have you gone? Where have you been?
We’ve cut your rope short, and not let you in
Believing those things that make us feel good
And fallen in love with all that is sin

Where is your sting?  Where is your blow?

We won’t let you move, don’t let you flow
Hope you got the picture we sent when we
Placed you in a box and buried you below

Deep under the surface of our deadened mind

Don’t care to be woken, just leave us behind
To wallow and swim in this world we’ve arranged
And see what beautiful sin we can find

Sin is an addition and plays it’s part well

Acting as though it won’t take you to hell
Soft, sweet words deceiving our minds
